Spanish heavy metal band Death Keepers, whose debut album Rock This World was released last January through Fighter Records, have just announced the incorporation to their ranks of legendary singer Mike Vescera!

Here’s the official statement issued by the band: “It is such an honour to announce that Michael Vescera is Death Keepers’ new singer. Michael Vescera is an american hard rock and heavy metal singer with worldwide acclaim. He has been the singer of bands like Loudness (Soldier of Fortune, On the Prowl), Yngwie Malmsteen (The Seventh Sign, Magnum Opus), Obsession (Marshall Law, Scarred for Life, Methods of Madness), Dr. Sin (Dr. Sin II), Roland Grapow (Kaleidoscope), or of his own band MVP (Mike Vescera Project). Apart of being a singer, Vescera works as a music producer. His late collaborations include artists such as Metal Mike Chlasiak and Bobby Jarzombek (Halford, Sebastian Bach, Fates Warning), Bobby Blotzer (Ratt) and John Corabi (Mötley Crüe, Scream). Half way through 2011, Vescera joined Animetal USA (Sony Music) alongside Rudy Sarzo on the bass, Scott Travis on drums and Chris Impellitteri on the guitar. In the middle of 2016, Vescera took a breath from the Animetal project in order to record something new with Rudy Sarzo, John Bruno and BJ Zampa. This new project, called D-Metal Stars Metal Disney, was elaborated in October 2016 at Walt Disney Records. Now, in 2018, Mike Vescera joins Death Keepers to present the debut album by the band, Rock This World, in a tour of epic proportions that will be announced soon. The band is really happy to be able to work with one of the best heavy metal singers of all time”.
