We’re proud to present US rockers Heaven and Earth as the latest act in our Sentinel Daily Recommends series!

Described by famed producer Chris Lord-Alge  as ‘the best Rock & Roll band in the world, period!’, the band, who mix the bombastic seventies stylings of Deep Purple and Rainbow in devastating fashion, have released a new single, Hard to Kill, the video for which you’re feting your eyes upon now!

Heaven and Earth features Joe Retta (lead vocals, guitar, harmonica) who has performed with The Sweet, Gregg Rolie, Dio Disciples and Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Stuart Smith (guitars, a Ritchie Blackmore protégé who has played with The Sweet and numerous other bands in North America and Europe), Lynn Sorensen (bass and vocals), who has performed all across the globe with Bad Company and in Paul Rodgers’ band, keyboardist Ty Baillie (who has played with Katy Perry and Robbie Robertson), and, essential to the album with his songwriting and drumming is Kenny Aronoff, who has been a sideman to countless bands both live and in-studio including Bob Seger, John Mellencamp, and the Rolling Stones. His distinctive style and energy are one to behold on Hard to Kill. While on tour, the band includes musicians Mike Mangan (Hammond organ and keyboards) and Steven Wilson (drums, percussion, vocals).

Monster of rock Edgar Winter describes Heaven and Earth thus: ‘The new album from Heaven and Earth is the real deal. Many great songs start out as a great riff, and this album is full of them. Intention, intensity, and emotion. All three are in play here’.
