Melodic death metal powerhouse Orpheus Omega and Symphonic Gothic metal masters Carmeria join forces this November for their Embers Of Tragedy Australian tour.

Co-celebrating their acclaimed and recently released albums, Emberglow (Wormholedeath Records) and Tragédie D’amour respectively, the bands have whipped up an incredible new live show to unleash on crowds across the country. With both bands known for their finely crafted and highly energetic live shows, this tour is a must-see for fans of fantastical melodies and chaotic circle pits.

With a career now spanning five acclaimed albums, three EPs and countless tour cycles both domestically and abroad, Orpheus Omega has cemented themselves as one of the hardest working and entertaining mainstays of the Australian metal scene. 2024 brings their most ambitious album yet, with Emberglow released on July 24th through Wormholedeath Records. Emberglow – which spent three weeks atop the Sentinel Daily Top Thirty Album Chart – marries the band’s classic melodic death metal roots while taking the largest leaps into uncharted territory including moments of progressive metal, metalcore, doom metal and more.

From the eerie mists of the Blue Mountains, Carmeria combine the haunting sounds of dark symphonic metal with the lovelorn energy of gothic influences. Released on August 23rd and currently residing in the Top Ten of the Sentinel Daily chart, their second album, Tragédie D’amour consists of ten new songs, with the band’s sound taking on a more energetic gothic rock approach than its predecessor. Embracing musical stylings rare in their corner of the world, the dark genre-bending visionaries take on the international gothic scene with soaring vocals, melancholic lyrics, and songwriting on a world class level.
