Having deviated from their black metal past with the release of A Dead Poem (Century Media) in 1997, Greek dark metal legends Rotting Christ got back on the devil’s path in 1999 with the Der Perfekte Traum EP, which was no less than the prelude for the equally unique Sleep of the Angels full-length album. In this endeavour of theirs, Rotting Christ kept on with their then-newly established musical style, probably influenced by the rising atmospheric trend of the late nineties European metal scene.
Featuring at the time new songs the title track and Moonlight, The rest of the EP features five exciting live editions of songs from their critically acclaimed Triarchy of the Lost Lovers album from 1996, which make this release a valuable collectible and a must-have for all Rotting Christ fans and will available on September 3 exclusively from vinylstore.gr.
