Perennial Sentinel Daily faves Stevie R. Pearce and the Hooligans release a new single, Lunatics By The Pool, on the somewhat inauspicious date of Friday 13th of November; to accompany this rousing tale of booze-fuelled idiocy they’ve shot an accompanying video, which we’re pleased to bring to you today as the latest clip in our Sentinel Daily Recommends series…

Such a titanic exposition of tomfoolery can’t go without further investigation, of course, so Sentinel Daily editor Scott Adams posed the following question to Mr Pearce:

On a scale of one to ten, where ten equals ‘yes absolutely” and one equals ‘I wouldn’t do it again with yours let alone mine’, how would you rate playing a guitar solo underwater?”

To which our hero replied “I’d have to say one point five… Although inebriated and in my defence I can’t actually remember that much of it… I had planned it as a ten. I was picturing an almost underwater ballet type scene.. I’m not sure how clear it is but I’m not playing in the right key at all. Very little attempt seems to have been made to even attempt that… More hanging on for dear life. Carl drumming underwater actually came out well. He would rate that as a ten”.
