Formed during the global lockdown in 2021, Skreen 6 emerged with hot blood and rockin’ heads carrying the true essence of eighties hard rock and glam. Bands like Mötley Crüe, Skid Row, Guns N’ Roses, Bon Jovi, and Def Leppard were the major spark for the initiation, and the band kicked off their journey with the release of their debut single, Rockin’ Head, in 2021.

In 2023, Skreen 6 released their debut album Rockin’ head reprising their debut single as the title track, along with seven other tracks that reflects eighties hard rock and glam.

A significant turning point for the band came in 2023 with the addition of their new vocalist, Yohan. Picking up from where they left off, the band rose into a new hope to pursue their dream to soar high into the skies of rock n roll.

As skreen 6 continues to ride the wave of their early success, all hands are on deck vigorously, with the band set to expand their music with their new singer. With glammy live shows to new song writing sessions packed with surprises, the band have taken the oath to replenish the rock scene and to revive glory of eightiess hard rock and glam metal.

The band’s new single One Bullet is here to take you on a roller-coaster ride of reality and delusion. Grab on to your senses cuz you might get lost…

One Bullet is basically a spontaneously written track that was birthed during one of the band’s casual jam sessions. Lead guitarist MK –  came up with the groundwork for the song. Once the idea was expressed, the rest of the band worked upon it and the whole song was structured in less than a day. The idea behind the song was of a gruesome addiction to a drug that has finally taking over its victim. MK dived into the lyrics while the rest of band took to perfecting the grooves.

The lyrics metaphorise a gun to symbolise an addictive drug. The song dives deep into a new reality of a destructive cycle consisting a life of mess with the drug taking over its control. Themes like desperation and hopelessness rings throughout the whole song.

The song explicitly reveals the temptation of the drug playing with the man’s feeble mind seducing him to take it again and again. The final theme of the song is not about revival but of regret, and the man finally loses against the drug. Even though the song is about a tragedy, the vibe emits a power-packed groove which resembles the catchy choruses like that of eighties hard rock glam.
