Capturing hectic riffs and frenetic percussion in a tightly produced number, Antithesis is a dose of musical chaos from Hideous Sun Demon that will satiate the appetite of fans and newcomers alike.

The premiere of Antithesis comes with the announcement of Hideous Sun Demon’s third studio album, Fame, Erotic, Dream, set to be released on July 27th.

The foundations already laid by the band on previous releases Industry Connections (2016) and 2013 debut Sweat have been impressively built upon with this new collection of material; the West Australian trio have gone further in exploring some blistering soundscapes, all the while upping their artistry and talent as instrumentalists. As Antithesis brilliantly demonstrates, Hideous Sun Demon are generating their best musical energy yet, channelled through Vincent Buchanan-Simpson’s lead vocal, not to mention the penetrative rhythm section courtesy of Jake Suriano and Blake Hart.

The band have previously supported the likes of Miss June, Thee Oh Sees and The Hard-ons and have played Gizzfest, Southbound, Bigsound 2016 and Perth Laneway Fest already and are now excited to take their live show to the next level with a mix of Australian city and regional dates.
