Orpheus Omega, Australia’s powerhouse of melodic death metal, is here with their latest single Edge Of Forever. This extraordinary track was created as a part of a self expressive upcoming EP where each member wrote a song in their own image and character. Edge Of Forever is a reflection of Leon Monaco (Bass) and his internalisation of self awareness and belonging.
The song asks the question, ‘What if we took control? What if we wrote our own narrative and took away power from those who seek to rule our thoughts and feelings?’. Not only is the song a truly adventurous epic, it also heavily features Jim Grey, vocalist of Caligula’s Horse further adding to the atmosphere, tone and whimsy to capture the essence of the song’s meaning.
Off the back of a slew of acclaimed sold out shows alongside Be’lakor in August, Orpheus Omega and Andy Gillion team up one final time in 2022 to host the not-to-be-missed Kicking, Screaming and Live Streaming music event on December 9th. This one off live event will be beamed direct from the Stay Gold venue in Melbourne and celebrates the release of new music from both Orpheus Omega (Within These Walls, Edge Of Forever) and Andy Gillion (Arcade Metal) and will also be streamed worldwide via Veeps.
