Legendary Connecticut power thrashers Sacred Oath have signed a licensing deal with label Wormholedeath for their album Return Of The Dragon, which is now set for re-release worldwide on November 19th!

Comments band vocalist Rob Thorne on the new deal: “We are thrilled to have signed with WormHoleDeath Records for both digital and physical distribution of our latest album Return Of The Dragon. Finally Sacred Oath will have real support outside of the USA with a company we have confidence in. We look forward to increased accessibility to the band in Europe and Japan, in both the availability of our music and in live concert performances, and I expect that we’ll gain many new fans while also satisfying the long-time Oathbangers!”

The band’s most recent album, Return of the Dragon, was initially released by the band themselves, and represents all the very best aspects of Sacred Oath metal in ten new songs, each filled with powerful emotion and musicianship in a thunderous aural assault.

Cthulhu Wakes
Last Ride of the Wicked Dead
Return of the Dragon
At the Gates
Empires Fall
Hammer of an Angry God
The Next Pharaoh
Into the Drink
Root of All Evil

Like so many others, the story of Sacred Oath is one filled with triumph and tragedy, but not many artists have been as prolific while remaining independent for so long. Sacred Oath has self-managed and self-produced for almost twenty five years without a traditional record contract or label support and yet has managed to survive the ups, downs, and numerous obstacles of the industry in the internet-age. And they’ve done it all through their commitment to producing quality metal music, always. The band has been doing a “waterfall release” for this latest album and began issuing singles every two weeks on January 15th.
