On October 28th, 2019, The Damned took the stage at London’s prestigious Palladium Theatre for a very special immersive musical and theatrical experience. Wait For The Blackout captures the electrifying moment when David Vanian takes the stage gloriously decked out as Dracula, as hungry for blood as the fans are for the thrilling spectacle to come. This fan favourite from their genre-bending The Black Album indeed proves that the darkness holds a power that you won’t find in the day.

Plan 9 Channel 7 was singer Vanian’s personal choice for the first official video from  A Night of A Thousand Vampires.  With its aura of sensuality and darkadelic danger, the clip captures the spirit of this tribute to actress Maila Nurmi (whose signature creation Vampire appears in duplicate on the stage). A stroll through the Hollywood Cemetery never rocked like this!

The long awaited Live-album A Night Of A Thousand Vampires teams the first Punk Band with the Hammer House of Horror and the cast of The Circus of Horrors. With the band and audience in full vampire attire, Vanian transforms from Dracula into Nosferatu,  Neat Neat Neat  morphs into  Bela Lugosi’s Dead , and fire-eaters and trapeze artists dazzle to a set that includes classics such as Wait For the Blackout and rare performances of appropriate covers like People Are Strange and Eloise.
